Ruark Remembered

Ruark fans may now enjoy the Robert Ruark Inn, a bed & breakfast located at 119 Lord St. Southport, NC 28461. Call for reservations at 910-363-4169 and browse the Inn's website at www.RobertRuarkInn.com.

This historic inn is located in what was at one time the home of Capt. Edward Adkins, Ruark's grandfather. It was here, while visiting his grandparents, that many of the impressions, memories and experiences with his grandfather became the basis of
"The Old Man and the Boy."

Below you will also find a photo of the Robert Ruark Inn and a brief slide show of photos from that historical bed & breakfast in Southport.
